Great place
Top place. We went during winter but the weather was fantastic. We reached the shore of the island (it's easy to swim till there). It was forbidden to enter (there are some roman ruins) so we turned back. Super recommended

Beautiful scenery
One of the sights in Aguilas which is difficult to ignore. The island is visible for a large number of the beaches in the town but my favourite view if from the path near Hornillo.

Great beach not too packed
Went round to this beach early morning to walk the dog and do a bit of fishing, what a beautiful place. Access to beach not the easiest if you are any way unstable and make sure your brakes are working well on the road down. If you are going for the day make sure you take all your food and drinks as not cafes or restaurants nearby. Also to toilet facilities. Just little things but worth mentioning.
