A resort on the up
Every resort in Spain has had it's problems and Peraleja is no different but this is one which is on the up. There is a buzz about the place now with new properties being built, additional plots being sold off and La Vista restaurant opening. The golf course has its problems and needs a little work in some areas but remains one of the best layouts and challenging courses around and you can play it at reasonable rates. The clubhouse is stunning with amazing views out to the Mar Menor and surrounding areas. We met some lovely people there and there is a lovely town Sucina close by. The beach is only 10 mins drive as is San Javier airport and the lively resort at Los Alcazares around 15 mins. Definitely worth a visit.

Friendly and great for all abilities.
Played Hacienda Riquelme on our first day but found it to be very challenging. Having visited Golf 525 Murcia in San Javier. We found they were offering a round for two players and a buggy for €60. We took this offer and although in places the course needs a bit of attention. Overall it is a good course on a complex which when finished will be a very up market resort. The staff are very friendly and the bar has a lovely view over the course. Played here 3 times on my visit this time and can't wait to return.

Great Potiental
I play of 4 and found this course while not having the funds to show it in its prime, its a hidden Jem. Designed by Seve with his signature S bunker on the 18th is a wonderful course hat deserves investment
