Beautiful Park
We took the slow long road through the park from Alhama. The views were very pretty for my passenger but as the driver I had to focus because of the high elevations and rugged terrain. Our lunch at Sierra Espuna was the reward and the owner told us of a more gentle track back to Alhama. It was much more relaxing.

museum and walking maps
very useful place to stop if you want to park the car and take a walk.. we hoped into the visitors centre and asked to two guilds about the suitable walks ... one spoke very good english and gave us a map with directions and asked if we would like to see the small museum which we did ... nice extra ... well signposted walk ..

Essential visit when in area
I would recommend a visit to the centre to find the history of the area and one mans vision English book is provided to help if Spanish is not understood I was fascinated with the journey to the current state of the park
