Good wine tasting at a reasonable price

A nice drive to Jumilla, a little town in a larger wine district. About 1 hour and 10 min from Alicante. Visited the Bodegas Silvano Garcia wine shop. Victoria was our guide at the shop, she was very knowledgeable and had a lot of interesting information. Answered all of our questions. A nice little tour and great wine tasting with nice wines, cheese and hams very reasonable priced.

    Amazing group tour with friends
We had an amazing morning with you, 16 of us (4 March 2023). The staff looked after us amazingly, each and everyone lovely. The tour was very interesting, even though I was scared in the concrete barrel, jeje. The wine tasting afterwards was amazing, we didn't want to leave, if fact we were late for our next tour. Thank you everyone. PS - Can I buy the blue barrel??

    Excellent visit
I booked the guided tour using a Groupon but to be honest we would have been very happy to pay the full price ... well worth it. It’s a Bodega tour, not vineyard, so no yomping through greenery but so interesting. We all learnt something new whilst we were shown every step of the wine making process and the aroma room was an interesting touch. We did the tour that included tasting of 6 different wines and tapas of jamón and cheese and nibbles. Absolutely no pressure to buy afterwards but we did because we found a couple of wines we really liked. Our guide, Marián, was an absolute delight .., knowledgeable and friendly and paced the visit just right - about 2 hours in total. Thoroughly recommended.
