all wonders of the world in one place
We enjoyed the place very much! I was astonished with the first part where masterpieces from different cultures and countries are represented. My teenage daughter loved the second part where she found her favourite movie and cartoon heroes. But the most amazing experience was meeting the author of the most of these sand sculptures - Abanoub Khali. It was an honour for us to meet him and to know more about his work. You should definitely visit Sand City)

    Tips for Visit
Sand City is located about 20 minutes by taxi from the centre of Hurghada. You can pay the entrance fee in a variety of currencies including Egyptian, English (£10) and Euros. The site has historical (buildings and people) sand sculptures and cartoon/film characters. It also has a small cafe, toilets and the staff are pleasant. If you ask for directions you may have difficulties as no-one including hotels and nearby shopkeepers seemed to know what I was talking about when asking for the 'sand sculptures'. If you specifically ask for 'Sand City' hopefully you will have better luck than I had in locating it!
