This man made beautiful lake is the most lively and happening place in Abu. Esp in evenings the weather is too good and area buzzing with tourists. Boating is a bit expensive (800 for 4 person pedal boat, 1200 for 4 person with rowing boat all for 30 mins). Didnt get the logic of having to pay 5/jacket and why its not covered in the ticket price. surrounding the lake is a 3 km parikrama marg to walk around the lake.Area is full of icecream shops, eatries, restaurants etc. One can stay here and do shopping late till 9-9:30 PM. Abu's small Main market is 500 meters from Nakki lake.Hand driven small trolleys are available for taking elders/kids to near by areas for 100-200 Rs.

Best Place to Visit in Mount Abu
We did Paddle Boating Costs 200 per person so we paid 400 for two for 30 mins and extra 100 tip to a guy for taking a full 1 hour boating througout the lake. Water is 20ft-30ft deep and one can enjoy boating near white ducks, fountains and rainbows are visible during evenings 5-6 pm from the water of fountain. Slow paddling will provide you good speed and do not paddle fast because you will get tired soon. It was a relaxing experience

A vast man made lake
A beautiful lake to spend evenings around. The approach is lined by many gift shops, ice cream parlours and restaurants. Your private vehicle is to be parked somewhere as vehicles are not allowed near the lake perimeter. Paddle boating as well as assisted boating is available for hire but the rates are quite high. You have to even pay a small amount for the life jackets which should have been included in your boat hire price. A walk around the lake perimeter of nearly 2.5 kilometres is a must if you are full of energy. There are benches every few meters for taking rest if you so require.
