Great place for sunsets and d serenity
I visited the Gadisar Lake one evening and reached there just before sunset by an auto from the Hotel I was staying. You can easily get an auto to go back to your hotel from here after sunset, don’t forget to reduce the price they quote. The water front gives a special charm to this place and while I went crazy clicking some photographs, I also enjoyed sitting on the steps for around 20-30 minutes as the sun slowly bid its daily adieu. For those who want to go boating, the place offers that facility for a cost. I preferred to enjoy the place from the landslide.

A fine outdoor experience with historical build structures and reflection of sun light on water waves
One of the fine outdoor activity /picnic spot in Jaisalmer. By foot pathway travel in side of lake and you will enjoy the boat ride . Best time to visit here is in morning and evening . Ticket- Only for vehicle parking and for boat riding . For boat riding must be bargain and also must be sure that how far away ride path and how much time will ride. You can easily visit here via cab or auto or taxi Must Be- proper shoes or rubber footwear , water bottle , umbrella /hat . Must visit near by historical build structure near by side area . Too much bagger near by area so must avoid them in gentle way. When you go to visit Gadsisar Lake, the first thing you notice is the gate of Tillan, which welcomes you to the beautiful surroundings of the lake. It is carved on rich yellow sandstone which serves as a majestic attractive gateway to Gadsisar Lake.

Colorful lake and buildings
It is a required stop in Jaisalmer. Do it in the morning as the warmth of the sun is better for pictures, here we obtained fine reflections in the lake. Many couples being married and some film making takes place here - look out for that. Pretty clean also.
