One of the best
This was a pleasant surprise quickly qualified into a must do in Jaipur One of the best museums I visited so far. The collections are really good and the place is maintained spotless Do visit in the evening. They close at 5:00 and reopen again with fancy lighting at 6:30 pm. The tickets are slightly expensive in the evening (100 rupees per head compared to 40 in the morning) but they place had few visitors in the evening and much more peaceful

Best museum ever
The best place to visit in Jaipur is Albert hall museum. The collection is amazing and whats even more fulfilling is the fact that there is a description for each and every artefact (unlike city palace museums which is not worth at all). Additionally the entire museum is Air conditioned which was a relief in the sweltering heat...you can spend time here comfortably. Of all the sight seeing places, this is the best in Jaipur at a very minimal entry fee of Rs50 pp. Go for it !

Interesting collection
Foreigners pay here - like in all other places - a few times more for admission than locals. The oldest museum m in Rajasthan has an extensive collection. I was fascinated with the intricate beauty of the building of Albert Hall Museum by itself. Makes you want to stare at the details and enjoy.
