    Small but Select Collection
While my husband had a coffee at the beautiful and cheap Moorish cafe across the street, I visited the Archeology Museum, now renamed Museum of History and Civilizations. I found exhibited all the best artifacts found at Roman sites in Morocco. I recommend seeing the sites first, then visiting the museum. The collection is small but every object is gorgeous. I also liked the art deco architecture of the museum and the indoor/outdoor exhibitions. The WC is clean. You Tube has an excellent tour of the museum in French as part of the Au Fil de l’histoire series. Be aware that the museum was closed on 1 May, a national holiday, when I first tried to visit. If you buy a ticket to the Modern Art Museum nearby, it includes the entrance fee to this museum. It does not work the other way around. The visit to the museum takes less than an hour. It is an easy walk from other downtown sights.

Hard to Follow if You Need English
Nice, small, collection. No English so it is hard to follow. I would rate this higher for local language speakers. If this review is helpful then please indicate so below.
