Wow!!
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Pristine views of the Cocora valley, vast glorious landscapes. Family of five with 12 year old son and two teenage daughters. Loved it. Horseback ride through the valley. Safe, although frightening at times. Guide is with you at all times. Suggest booking trip through your hotel as you would spend less and avoid the haggling in the town square. Expect to pay 25k for 90 minutes up to 70k for 3 hour trip. We loved it. Three hours we just enough time for the bottom to tolerate.

An absolute gem
Exquisitely beautiful place and well worth the trip. The drive is lovely with the bright green fine grassy pastures. The hike to the first falls is quite nice with some place for snacks along the way. Yes, a naturalist would rightly state that it’s modified a environment with the grazing etc. However I saw a large nursery along the way that seems to indicate they are taking positive steps. I would assume that’s partially made possible because of tourism. So see it, understand the fragility, appreciate the beauty as it is, and support the local tourism

Nature
It is a nice walk. Beautiful palm trees, nice birds and lots of trees all around. I did the five our tour if was quite good, but also a little exhausting. If you like hiking, than I would recommend doing it. Just a must in Salento :)
