We had great service from the friendly staff at Poppy Bob’s. Great little flat bottomed pint for exploring the creek and fishing/crabbing.

highly recommend the chandlery 1770
I go to 1770 1-2 times a year for the last 10 years and Poppy always has a boat available for me to take up the creek. I also took a foreign couple up the creek once to show them how the Aussies do it, they had an amazing time and caught fish for the first time in their lives. There was a time Poppy stood down and other management almost ran the chandlery into the ground so Poppy stepped back into the shoes and brought it back up to speed. He is a very well respected member of the community and always happy to help where he can. Highly recommend a stop in to grab a coffee or lunch at the Cafe out the front or hire a tinny or just a chat to Poppy Bob.

On the improve!
It's great to see the Chandlery being restocked and attended to daily, with attentive staff who do their best to help. They also hire Stand-Up-Paddle Boards and Tinies!
