Highly recommend a trip to Eli Creek, great fun!

Our trip to Eli Creek was so much fun. We set up a gazebo and the awning on the side of our car so we had plenty of shade (highly recommend doing this as there is no shade at the creek), took a portable bbq with us and cooked up some sausages & hamburgers, and had plenty of cold drinks in the Engel. The creek was nice to walk through and refreshing to lay in. Next time we will take floaty rings to float down the creek. It was exciting driving along the beach, driving through water (it was deeper than we thought but lots of fun), great atmosphere at the creek and we also saw some dingoes. Absolutely awesome day. Only negative is that it’s quite a long walk to the toilets, especially on a hot day.

Eli Creek great place to swim.
The cool fast flowing water of Eli Creek is a great place to spend the day. Over 400,000 people travel here to enjoy the water each year. Taking a blow up tube is a good way to and fun. Water not deep so a refreshing walk down the stream is a must do. Fresh drinking water can be taken from the head of the creek.

    Beautiful Place
This is a place you must visit if you get the chance to go to Fraser Island, water is so clear and goes on for what seems like forever. It is such a good photo opportunity with its picturesque windy turns, it a perfect place to relax and float down the river with a tube and have some lunch. There wasn’t too many people when we went, but obviously that could change during the year.
