Amazing views and great beauty
We stopped to admire this lake and have a picnic on our drive to Puno. It was a bit cold and windy but the views were just amazing. It was so peaceful and lovely. I would definitely try to fit this in if you can. We felt lucky that our timing worked out so we could have lunch here. We had a packed picnic but there was a small place where you could buy food and supplies near where we ate.

Nice views
This is a nice stop for pictures between Puno and Arequipa. Not only are the flamingos interesting to see there is much natural beauty in this area. Today while we made the ride there was snow on the ground, which we were told is not common at this time. This is not a destination you'd go out of your way to see just a stop along the route between two cities.
