Great Time in Costa Rica
We had a spectacular time with our tour guide Johnny Myrie! He made sure we got everywhere safely and on time, made excellent recommendations for food and shopping and gave extensive history about Costa Rica and the surrounding areas. There was never a dull moment as he consistently engaged us in informative conversations. We highly recommend him for your vacation or taxi needs!!

Zipline was not what we paid for
We booked a Full Day tour directly through Syltravel. We were supposed to go Ziplining, take a tour of a coffee and banana planation, then have lunch at the beach or at a panaramic view restaurant. Our driver, Johnny Myrie was EXCELLENT. However, the zipline course we signed up for and paid for was NOT the 13 platform, hour and a half tour advertised. It was 9 fairly short ziplines that took less than 30 minutes to complete. To say we were extremely disappointed was an understatement. The staff at Brisas de la Jungla ziplines were nice and kept us safe however we were upset to have been taken here instead of the other zipline location. If you are a beginner than yes maybe this is the place for you. It was honestly the most disappointing zipline experience we have ever had as we have done it several times before. After the zipline there was a big mix up as Johnny was never told what our tour was supposed to include. He thought that ended our tour. Once we explained and showed him our receipts, he called the company. At first we were told that since we booked it through a third party they were unaware of what we signed up for. This pissed us off more because we booked directly through Syltravel. Johnny was not to blame because we saw the written directions he was given by the company on where to bring us. In the end, Johnny went OUT OF HIS WAY to make things right. He took us to an awesome small plantation and took the short walking tour with us, explaining various fruit, coffee and cacoa trees to us. We stopped and ate bananas along the way and then we went to a store with reasonable prices to buy souvenirs. Johanny stopped at a local snack shop and bought us a fruity empanada made from local fruit that tasted almost like a cherry apple pie! He toured us around Puerto Limon and showed us both sites for lunch and let us decide where to eat. We settled for the beach restaurant, Reina's on Playa Bonita which was gorgeous with freshly prepared food. We all got seafood and fresh fruit drinks. We are so grateful for Johnny who made our visit AMAZING in Puerto Limon!
