Blue Conga hotel, loved it
Stayed at Blue Conga hotel /rooms. Such a great spot just off the edge of town. . Great people that run the place , especially Stephanie “, superb lady. “Rooms are clean and comfortable, good hot showers and soft comfy beds. No air cond in our room but with the ventilation and fan our room was perfect. Great deck to sit and have your morning coffee, and hammock for afternoon snooze. Thank you Stephanie for being such a good host

Beach Cluttered with Restaurants
Puerto Viejo has developed over the years to the point you can't get to Puerto Viejo beach without being in front of some cafe, restaurant or club. If you don't mind all the eyes on you from the pina colada sippers in the outside seats while you take a dip, it's fine. If you prefer an unobstructed view of a long bay of sand, better head to Playa Negra north of the bridge. Fun area at night though!
