Simply gorgeous!!

We caught one of the most amazing sunsets here. Just an absolutely stunning beach, one not to be missed. We were here in the off-season, and it was pretty busy. I imagine it gets really crowded during peak times. Don't miss the monkeys in the trees on the way to the beach!

    Nice Beach
Nice comfortable beach for most part. We decided to pay $30 to have an umbrella and 2 lounge chairs and drink/ snack service from Jeffrey from Lolas Beach has a big hidden rocky area that can make it tricky to walk into water. Surf school hut available Water was comfortably warm. Not crowded. It’s about halfway between Playa Negra and a tamarindo

One of favorite places in Guanacate
Anchoring ourselves at Lolas with chairs and umbrellas in order to spend the day comfortably enjoying their snacks and drinks, allowed us to really kick and enjoy Avellana's beauty and surf. Just enough folks on the sand to enjoy people watching but never so many to make it feel crowded. Perfect waves for boogie boarding, body surfing or just bobbing around in.
