Steeped In Tradition and Canadian History
This is a must see. Here our country was born. Here I visited on the day our country was attacked. Here I witnessed the emotional toughness of Canadians. This is the Lieutenant Governor's residence. On a recent business trip to Charlottetown my colleagues and I were treated to dinner at the residence (which was delicious) and a tour of the facilities. We saw the Queen's quarters and the rest of this historical edifice. The Lt.-Gov. himself served tea and coffee and we were all grateful.

Lovely old colonial house
A building as one would expect for the era. Very nice to see the new garden recognising the Platinum Jubliee. The grounds are very well maintained, although entry to house did not seem possible in June 2022

Excellent
The guide was very friendly and enthusiastic. The tour was interesting and the building is in excellent condition. Wonderful to see some of the original furnishings and pictures. Stepped back in time and yet heard about the Queen and Prince William and Kate's visits. Not obvious that it's open. Check the info inside the gate by the gatehouse.
