Fantastic place to go

What a great little gem. Nice grassy picnic area near the falls. If planning on entering the water wear water/tennis shoes. I recommend life jackets for younger children, especially if they plan to jump from the falls. We got there at 11:00 and were able to park in the lot, we left at 1:00 - cars were parked up and down the road. You do need a State Park passport. I did not see it, but my understanding is that you will get ticketed without it and/or parking along the road (don't know if true or not). We had a wonderful time.

    Great experience & great area
This is such a gem. Great for younger kids who think it’s fun to swim in a waterfall. The rocks are slippery, so hold on to the little ones hands. The walk is short from the parking lot & if you go in the morning or evening, it is a lot less busy. There are snakes that frequent the area even with people around, so be watchful. It’s close to Roger’s City, so you can get ice cream by the beach afterward and check out 40 Mile Point Lighthouse while in the area too.
