Another trip back up the mountain
No trip to our favourite part of the Vysoke Tatry would be complete without a walk around the lake at Strbske Pleso. It’s a brilliant place to visit in summer for the walks, in winter as a winter skiing resort. This time we took the cog railway from Strba , it was a nice way to climb the mountain and a return journey is only €2! It’s a photographers paradise the scenery is just incredible, I’d implore people to visit.

Beautiful but you can find better in Tatras
You can walk around the mountain lake or go by boat (close to Kempinsky hotel). Bike is not allowed. Nice surrounding and perfect for slow walk. However you can find better/more picturesque places in Tatras - Morskie Oko or 5-lakes valley on Polish side.

BEAUTIFUL LAKE TO WALK AROUND
Our first stop in Slovakia and wow what a place! Absolutely stunning scenery around the lake. Would be gorgeous in ski season. It was very warm when we visited in June. The walk around the lake was lovely and peaceful, and like being a part of a National Geographic magazine!!! Loved it.
