Great place for nature lovers, even if you're travelling with small kids
Charming scenery and plenty of green around; trees. vegetation, water and shrouding mountains.. Surrounding the lake takes about an hour of relatively easy and convenient walking. In addition there are lot of other paths around the aria. The place is also suitable for families with small children. The place is very popular and it might be crowded on weekends and holydays You must take into account that because of the height of the area weather might be rainy and visibility being limited. A great place to spend several hours, just strolling or sitting, breathing fresh air, enjoying the nature, views and peace.

Must visit
Very reasonably priced, no long ques, no waiting and wonderful services. Everything is within walking distance and the views are breathtaking. Truly a paradise.

Little to crowded, but nice
In my opinion IT is most tourist area, i prefer smokovec or tatranska lomnica, but this place is in another tyle, there are note hotels etc. But hole city looks nice, IT is well suitated, on nice lake, with great trafiła around. Lake is avearge, on higer tatras you can see a lot better
