Thompson’s Harbor State Park on Lake Huron was down a long gravel road that I thought was leading me nowhere but it ended at a secluded spot right on the lake. No one else was there. No wildlife at all. The beach was all rocks and no sand but there was a log to sit on and have a snack. The water was really clear. Very peaceful. There was even a toilet by the parking area and it was clean. Had no problem getting there in my sedan.See more..
