Fantastic! Bring your Kiddos!

I have visited the Railroad Club a few times and I continue to be blown away by their dedication to detail. The ever-changing layout is a sight to behold and the volunteers spend hundreds of hours of their time planning, building, and perfecting this huge train platform. Whether you are a model enthusiast, train enthusiast, or are simply looking for something to do while in the area, I highly recommend the Treasure Coast Model Railroad Club! Bring your children/grandchildren/nieces/nephews-they will be entertained and intrigued by the tiny details of the layout. Although not an official Autism Speaks “Autism-Friendly Designated Company,” some of the volunteers have been trained on Autism Spectrum Disorder and understand the needs of those on the spectrum. The volunteers are knowledgeable and enjoy sharing the fruits of their labor with others. No fee to enter but they do accept donations. Fantastic summer family field trip!

A Great Attraction to Visit in Port St. Lucie
My wife and I visited the Treasure Coast Model Railroad last Saturday. They have reopened to the public on Saturday mornings from 10:00 to noon. It was a great experience. In addition to the trains running all over this former fire station, there were tons of miniature scenery to look at, and working lights everywhere (traffic lights, street lights, buildings, autos, a fire truck, etc.) When one of the guys turned off the overhead lighting for a short time, it was very realistic. We will be back.

A wonderful visit for all ages. Love those trains!
Have visited this club many times in the past. The members are friendly and knowledgeable. They are continually working improving snd changing their displays. Expert craftsmanship and detailed work is everywhere. They truly love their hobby! The latest additions of lighting and lots of “people” really bring everything to life. Well worth the visit!
