With various hole locations, you could play this course every day and discover a different layout. All three courses at PGA Golf Club have been recognized on a variety of 'Top Courses in America' lists, including Golf Digest's – Top Public Golf Courses in Florida. The Dye was ranked 19th, Wanamaker 32nd and the Ryder T34th, respectively, making PGA Golf Club one of only a handful of properties with 3 courses on the respected list.

    Excellent experience
My wife & I decided to spend the Labor Day week-end at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie. Much to our disappointment the Wanamaker Course was closed. We played the Dye Course and that did not disappoint. The service was great right from the time we drop our clubs off. The starter immediately had our carts ready to go with the cooler filled with ice and a couple of bottles of complimentary water. The PGA building and grounds are very impressive. Everyone there was very helpful and they got us out right away. Complimentary range balls were another nice touch. At $45.00 per person, this is a great deal for such a 1st class Golf Course. I expected a lot and the Pete Dye course lived up and exceeded my expectations. Pete Dye is masterful at getting in your head on your tee shots and definitely on your approach shots. Forget about running your ball on the green. You better be accurate with your approach irons, and when your on the greens there is enough slope in the greens where you rarely see a straight putt. The greens were slightly sanded, but still putted beautifully. Every hole you had to think about your target zones to score favorably. Bring your A game. Great Course and awesome service. 5 star all the way!!! Will definitely come back......

    Bring your Best Short Game
Played all 3 courses during the March break. Have 4 courses at the resort but the one away from the main clubhouse is being sold or will be no longer part of the course offerings at the end of the month. Will review the others as well. Recently redone over the last year and the greens are hard and fast. They do not receive the ball well and if you attack the flag, you were basically over the green. Raised greens with short grass on the fringe which caused issues for my chips, often went long off the other side or if short, rolled back to your feet. On approach shots, you had to judge how short on the fairway you had to hit to stay on the green. Very difficult after the winter layoff. The upside was the amount of roll on drives and mishits on the fairways. Course was in good shape, some dry areas but there has been a lack of rain and other areas also show the lack of rain. Staff was excellent and friendly right from people greeting the car and setting you up to play. Marshall's were friendly and gently reminded you of the 4 hour pace. If you kept up to the group in front, they were aware and didn't push you too hard. Pricing was reasonable for the time of year and quality of the golf course. If you want cheap or inexpensive golf, I would go elsewhere but for a quality outing at a high end facility this is great. Balls are included for the range and we were always able to get more than the small bucket offered. If you have not played for a while, show up early and go to the short game practice area at the far end of the range. may save you a stroke or two on the greens. We ate in the pub and food was good, beer was cold which is what we were looking for. use the green that is close to the first hole of the course you are playing as they tend to be more representative of the course, first day we warmed on on the Ryder and played the Wannamaker which lead to some long come-backers.
