Lakeside Park, Michigan, United States

4.5 (46 reviews) Spent More than 3 hours Ranking #9 in Port Huron Beaches

One of Southeast Michigan's Best Beaches

Often now more crowded than ever, the secret must be out about this sandy beach and its recent upgrades. However, if it becomes too crowded with boaters off shore, it may be better to go to one of the no-frills beaches to the north on Gratiot. Also, a visit on a warm day in Fall or Spring is refreshing.

    Love it!
We liked this beach a lot. Very clean and little trash was seen. It has rocks on the far side pretty bad so make sure to wear swim shoes. The have a decent amount of picnic tables in the park before the beach if needed. They do charge for any cars coming in and parking gets full by 1:30 or so the days we have come so we come around 12:30. Nice long beach to swim and chill at. Cool metal mini dividers in the water so the kids can jump off of them. Great for toddlers to middle school to jump off of and not deep.

Beautiful park right on the shores of Lake Huron.
This lovely park is open all year, tho there is a charge at the height of summer, It is a wonderful beach, and a fun place to see the lake boats heading right down to the Blue Water Bridge and maneuver to yet those huge boats lined up to get under the brudge and down the St Clair river. Across the street is a very beautiful cemetery including a civil war section near the corner of the street and the beach road. Worth a visit!
