It’s good place to have actives and play sports as well as relax. You can go swimming but it’s not advised. By local governments. It’s your own chose. Can also drink and smoke hookah at one of the little shops.

    Pleasant setting close to city. Beautiful trees all along the river.
    Great place to spend a day to relax, swim and fish. If you go mid-week there are not as many people therefore you have better choice of location. We certainly enjoy going there as a family.

    Beach?
    Beaches on rivers are never the best quality, the water was a green colour quite warm, I believe it is clean enough to swim in (probably best not to swallow it though). I swam in it for a couple of hours over the course of a sunny afternoon - no ill effects! I agree with other reviewers - The beach itself is dirty with cigarette butts and litter, bottle tops, and wrappers. Nobody looks after these beaches and it shows. Could be a very nice place to relax! if somebody cared!
