A unique place to understand about Bulgarian revolutionary efforts in 19c
The House-Museum of Vasil Levski is very interesting place to visit. The house itself is very small and not much different from any other small Bulgarian house from the 17-19 centuries. The underground hiding place of Levski is fun to spot. What makes the visit special is the well-arranged exhibition with paintings and descriptions of Levski's life and deeds. Similarly, the small chapel where his original hair is kept makes for a unique experience. Of note is that most of the descriptions are in Bulgarian and foreigners may find it difficult to follow.

Deep emotional experience for everyone who knows a little Bulgarian history
I don't mean to sound judgmental, but in my opinion places must be experienced, not seen. The very same thing applies for the home of Bulgaria's most dearest national hero - Vassil Levski. I strongly urge you all to Google his name and read a little bit about this person before visiting because only then you'll be able to truly dive into this place. The most important fact about him is that he was one of the leading revolutionaries during the Ottoman ruling in Bulgaria. A man so humble and dedicated, that his greatness is easily compared to Dr. Martin Luther-King. One of his most memorable lines was "If I shall win, the entire nation wins. If I shall lose, I shall only lose myself". I don't know if modern people can imagine this level of dedication to a cause and idea, but I find this absolutely admirable.
