The best museum in the city!

Ethnographic Museum in ancient Plovdiv is the best museum in the city, I think. I was there on the 2nd of August 2009 and the pics are from then. The atmosphere was perfect and the staff was so kind. I left my glasses and they found me going down the street..it was perfect to search for me and was so kind!

    Ladies at the desk...
    should stay at the desk for information and be more polite and informative. We were the only guests at the museum and couldn't find someone to ask anything from the time we paid for our tickets to the time we left. Baroque style with very interesting crafts and interactive tablet with music instruments on the second floor, wealth and a feeling of 19th century life. Would recommend

    Traditional Bulgarian clothing
    I love folk art, traditional clothing and furniture so I was interested to visit this museum. We took a guided day trip to Plovdiv from Sofia so our free time in Plovdiv was quite limited so we didn't spend as much time in the museum as I normally might under no time constraints. The museum is small, so we were able to see everything. I loved seeing all the traditional Bulgarian clothing. The building that houses the museum is beautiful. Slightly unfortunate for us, there was a market going on in the front garden so we did not get a great view of the exterior of the building. But we were able to pick up a souvenir at the market!
