Wow
We walked here through the beautiful forest. At 2 euros to enter it was a bargain. For those who don't fancy climbing the winding stairs, you can take the lift to the penultimate floor. You can look through the windows and marvel at the view but if you want to go on to the roof you have to climb a steep staircase. It is steep as my husband descended backwards! It is well worth it the views are stunning. You can see over Tampere, see both lakes and see if you can spot the Finlayson. We walked back along the lake shore, stopping to watch the red squirrels. Then sitting to take full advantage of the tranquillity, watching the colours of the lake change and breathing in the scent of the pine trees. Well worth a visit.

Amazing views
The best doughnuts and an amazing view at the top. There's an elevator if you don't feel like using the stairs. I don't know if it's in use thought. At the top you can look through windows or climb above where there are just stonewalls for safety. There are plenty of trails around the tower.

Nice walk in greenery, and very nice view from the tower
Very nice park & tower for a walk and a nice view over the city. We went on a monday, and people were queuing outside for the doughnuts : we supposed they were excellent (but we did not have the patience to wait ourselves). Elevator or stairs to go up, Ok even with children.
