Fantastic views from the top of the building - museum a big bonus

The Museum is one of the most important of its kind in the world thanks to it vast collection and the many different scientific and educational activities it carries out. But what makes it truly unique is its special exhibit setup. The museum is located inside the Mole Antonelliana, a bizarre and fascinating monument which is the symbol of the City of Torino. And the various areas inside the Mole Antonelliana were the starting point for the Swiss set designer François Confino who, with talent and imagination, multiplied the museum's itineraries. He created a spectacular presentation that offers visitors continuous and unexpected visual and acoustic stimuli, just like when we watch a film that involves and moves us.

    Total must for film lovers
Despite the complicated route through the museum this is a wonderful experience with too much to see for one visit. Luckily there is the lying-down area in the centre where you can lie back on red sofas and watch films to your heart;s content. And for a few extra Euros you can go up the Mole tower for a panoramic view of the city.

    Unique!
One of the few open museums/attractions when I visited from Milan for one day. What impressed my most is that this place blends successfully pure fun/entertainment with knowledge on the history of photography/cinematography and information on optics. It is well curated, extremely informative and I suggest you allow 3 hours minimum in order to explore extensively all parts of the museum. You can also book for observation desk with 360 degrees view to Turin and to break your visit in two parts . This a place for young and mature visitors and without particular interest for cinema but mainly for cinema history aficionados. Do not miss it especially if you have only one day to spend only and one museum only to visit in your list.
