Good to play for average golfer. Good fairways, nice design and not to difficult to play. Enjoyed every minute

A Game of Golf
I'll be brutally honest. For the price 2,000thb for 1 person to stay 1 night, breakfast, lunch and dinner 36 holes of golf caddy and a buggy, I wasn't expecting much. I wasn't wrong. Course was very bare, if I had paid 2,000thb for golf only I would have asked for my money back. Greens were very hit and miss. Massive Korean following so geared more towards them. Korean Buffet food. Caddy number 88 was what made my round. There was not alot of English but we could understand and had a good laugh. Reception & restaurant staff were very helpful & cheery. Your course needs some investment and you will get it back to it once former glory.

A nice golf course that would be better when more water is available
I was part of a group of 30 golfers playing a social tournament at Sawang, a 90 minute drive from our home in Hua Hin. The course was rustic, made more so by the empty water hazards that would be a major attraction when they are full. The fairways were also rather dry, often with scant vegetation, so our drives often enjoyed very nice bounces toward the green. The greens were variable, with some rather nice and others very spotty. Most of us had trouble shooting our handicaps, but the caddies were good. We would like to visit again, in the rainy season.
