Making the sacrificial monument the highlight of your day would lead only to disappointment however this location is the perfect add-on whether you are passing through or are in the vicinity. The road leading in and out is the actual assault path that the Royal Thai Army used in their attack on the hill. the top give you a very nice 360 degrees view of the area. The monument consists of a memorial monument and a small museum where one can view the different types of weaponry used.

View from here is great and they had many different pieces of military equipment on display each explaining the history of each piece worth the visit

Great for History Buffs
First, the drive up the mountain and the view at the top are worth the trip alone. Secondly, the history that took place here lends an air of solemnity and importance to your visit.
