    Fascinating Work of Miniature Art
We came across this miniature art gallery by accident after having breakfast in Thean Chun Restaurant. It opened a month ago. It is an art gallery and the miniature items are not for sale. We were greeted by the friendly owner , Mr Phoon (my 'zhou lai') and he explained that the items are made from dough. We were so amazed and impressed by the beautiful fine art work. The gallery on Ground Floor is FOC and pictures are allowed. There is another gallery on the 1st floor and the entrance fees in only RM5/pax. The miniature items depicts the scenes from the various China dynasties. We were given some glimpses of the China's rich history by Phoon. All these items are done by Phoon and his famous father-in-law, Xu Shi-Ying (from China) with the assistance from his wife over 4 years in Hebei, China. They will continue to expand the work over the next few years. This is another place that is highly recommended to be visited when you are in Ipoh.

    Beautiful craftmanship
This small museum offers a glance thru the ancient Chinese era..in a miniature form all made by dough. They have more upstairs which can be seen for a small fee. Rm5. The downstairs are free. A place to drop by when visiting the Concubine Lane
