Cradle of traditions
Our guide brought us to a charcoal factory to see a demonstration of how charcoal is made in traditional kilns. We also had seafood for lunch, and this fascinating mixture of Milo and coffee drink at an isolated village off the coast. Another highlight was at the joss stick making factory, as we could try making joss sticks to bring home. Overall I had a great time in Kuala Sepetang - it was unlike what I expected but so much more!

Wonderful Experience!
Our local tells us the Sepetang’s history and its stories. The people of each place gives us insights of art and culture that they are sustaining at this tech era. Getting our hands onto charcoal making and joss stick making, learning the complicated process and technique, is an experience that I cannot find elsewhere. I like the scenes, very nice for photography. Thanks Tia, you are a very knowledgeable tourist guide. Thanks LokaLocal.
