Historical Museum
Kota Ngah Ibrahim Museum is located in the outskirts of Ipoh, not popular but worth the visit. Historical information of Ngah Ibrahim. The museum is the house where he stayed and was a fort long ago, remnants of the wall can still be seen. We were lucky to visit as it was due to be closed for renovation for the next few months. There's some history on J W Birch as well as the occupation of the Japanese in Malaya. Good to visit if you like history.... or just to see some of the artifacts.

Worth visiting
It is originally belongs to the wealthiest man in Perak state. No payment charged. Mostly the exibition explains what the huge house was used for after the owner was exiled to Seychelles for taking part in the assasination of JWW Birch, 1st British Resident of Malaya.
