Galeri Sultan Azlan Shah, Perak, Malaysia
4.5 (53 reviews) Spent Ranking #3 in Kuala Kangsar District History Museums
Magnificent!
RM4 per entry. Students & Seniors RM2 per entry. An old palace turned into a museum. Beautiful architecture. Fascinating information about Sultan Azlan Shah. Place is very well maintained. Breathtaking memoirs and interesting information to learn about this sultan. Worth a visit. The grounds are beautifully kept too. I love this place.

Extraordinarily good museum.
This was a real highlight for me during my visit to Kuala Kangsar. I was unfamiliar with the life of the late Sultan of Perak and it was fascinating to have the story of his life and times presented in such a splendid building with all the relevant artefacts, objects and photographs displayed so sensitively. Quite superb and the entry price was an unbelievable...RM4.

It's nice inside
My four year old was very impressed by the fact that she was visiting the 'home' of a king and queen (she calls all royalty that). A very well curated gallery, in a space that is cavernous and at the same time maze like. Worth the RM4 admission ticket for adults (concessions available for pensioners).
