A great day hike
We did a short hike to the first refugio due to time constraints on our end. The hike went through a lovely confluence of the Rio and the Confluencia - beautiful location with a snack bar. The hike is easy and well marked. There are other refugios for overnight, longer hikes. Beautiful country

Nice day out
I caught a bus from El Bolsón. The tourist office can show you where. I did a few small hikes then the Mirador loop. It wasn’t stunning but still really pretty country and walking through different types of Forrest. Lots of birds, especially hawks. Lovely view from the mirador. If you’re staying in El Bolsón it’s a nice day out

Day hike is worth the effort
It’s a longish downhill from Warton to the river. Which makes for a longish uphill at the end of your hike— one of the steeper parts of the out and back walk to Playita, the first refuge. But the river is lovely and there are some nice views as you ascend after the bridges.
