Museo Paleontologico Egidio Feruglio, Patagonia, Argentina

4.5 (884 reviews) Spent Ranking #1 in Province of Chubut Speciality Museums • Natural History Museums • Educational sites

Very well presented and informative.

The museum is beautifully organised as a journey back through time and the dinosaur or megafauna remains are presented in that context. There were good, readable explanations in English. I enjoyed it as s learning experience, as well as being impressed by the size of the skeletons. Even the entrance area has s fascinating display comparing some small feathered dinosaurs and early birds.

Brilliant museum and home of Titanosaurus
This museum is great. Make sure you watch the BBC film with David Attenborough about finding the fossils of the largest dinosaur ever. At the moment they need to build a aircraft hanger to house the life size skeleton but still a great place.

    If you are into dinosaurs!
A distance away from Puerto Madryn in the not so quaint/picturesque town of Trelew. The small museum is interesting, especially if you are into dinosaurs! The dinosaur skeleton replics are excellent!
