    Worth a visit
Pleased we decided to stay in town and wonder around instead of being hearded on to the standard tours. Unassuming place with helpful staff and multilingual guides to steer you around. Really informative. Be prepared to hang your head in shame at collective colonial past events.

    good museum
i enjoyed this museum, we stayed for about 45-60 minutes. We were given a well used book with English translations of the displays which were quite confusing at times as they printed large arrows/information without an order - you could only work it out if you looked closely at the diagrams on the walls - the book would be better if the diagrams were greatly condensed and if the pages were laminated. The museum has a very interesting section at the end about how the indigenous people were treated, which was appalling and i am glad this has been highlighted. It was very sad.
