Circuito Chico, Patagonia, Argentina
4.5 (6.426 reviews) Spent Ranking #7 in Patagonia Hiking Trails
Take your time and enjoy
With a rented car you can do it in half a day as well as the whole day enjoying the views and places. The road is good. The miradors are well marked. You can park a car and go hiking if you want. There are a number of places such as Patagonia brewery restaurant where you can have lunch coupled with great views. A really excellent experience...

Breathtaking! In many ways
We rode the circuit just days before Argentina went into lockdown, but after the nearby National Park was closed. Some of the steeper hills are very tough if (like me) you’re not used to mountainous climbs. However, the numerous viewpoints are breathtaking and the thrill of freewheeling down at (breakneck) speed more than made up for the climbs. The road surface was quite rough in parts, but as motorists are clearly used to cyclists weaving along in front of them, it was as safe as it gets.

Lovely views
This is an enjoyable scenic drive with some lovely views although there are long stretches where the views are hampered by either lakeside development or forestry. Nonetheless, the views when they occur are spectacular and, all in all, we really enjoyed the tour. The Punto Panoramica viewpoint is very special and not to be missed. It took us about 3 hours in total to complete the circuit, inclusive of 30 minute coffee stop.
