A must visit

Great museum. Totally free and most signs in English. There did not seem to be anyone in charge but that did not matter. Great café opposite.

    Fabulous place!
    Well, where to start, this museum is a magical place, absolutely stuffed full with interesting memorabilia, lace, artefacts and facts. This museum is such an intriguingly interesting place for you to be taken back in time to how life was for Cypriots many years ago! If you are lucky enough, you will meet the wonderful mukhtar Ηλίας, he has such incredible stories to tell and you will be enchanted by his recollection of how he collected all of the artefacts before opening his wonderful museum. Entrance is free but donations are very welcome!

    Small but interesting
    You would not go to Steni just to see the museum as it is small. That said the museum has some interesting exhibits and I certainly learnt things about the area I was not aware of. Given that Steni is a nice e little village with a couple of good taverna it is worth visiting and then perhaps following up with lunch
