    Worth seeing.
Famous bridge which carries a huge amount of traffic. If you are driving do not cross the bridge until afte 9 am as they close off one lane for traffic entering the city. Best place for pictures of the bridge is from the road to Vera Cruz.Access to Verá Cruz is the 1st. Turning on the left as you get to the other side of the bridge. Along the road is a river and bridge on the left where you can pull off and get some good pictures. If you follow the road towards Vera Cruz you will see a beach and lots of beach restaurants the on the left. The best one we found is the last one in the line. Good food and reasonable prices. You can eat overlooking the beach.

    It’s a bridge.
This was our main road in and out of Panama City from our resort. Lots of traffic, a challenge during rush hour especially with driving lane direction changes based on time of day. In fairness, we never walked it, but just drove over several times. We were told that our resort was in Central America and each time we drove over this bridge, we were then in South America. It is pretty to look at from a distance and a great landmark.
