    Great walkway
The Causeway is a really great place to walk or bike. However, do not try to walk from the BioMuseo to all the restaurants - you'll die. There is no shade on the Causeway except for some palm trees, so it does get quite sunny during the day. Thankfully, since it's right by the ocean, it is very breezy and not hot at all. We walked for about 30 minutes before calling it quits, but you can really have a leisurely stroll here. We picked up an Uber halfway to the restaurants and it cost about like $3. You can rent bikes at the beginning (basically don't do what we did and try to walk from the "end"). You also get really amazing views of both the ocean and the city.

    Hiding in plain site
Although glaring obvious, this is a bit of a hidden gem that I discovered on the last day of my 5-day trip to Panama City. The BioMuseo (amazing natural history museum ) is the first thing you encounter when approaching this causeway. There are plenty of restaurants and random tourist attractions for kids. You'll find the largest concentration of ice cream, yogurt, and smoothie shops anywhere in Panama City.
