Beautiful harbor!
Manzanillo Bay is a beautiful harbor a great place to watch ships arrive and depart. It is a very busy harbor with container ships bringing goods in and out from Mexico City. The bay is close to “the center” which is full of tourists shops, Sailfish Statue and welcome sign. If you arrived by cruise ship, you’ll have great views of the bay from the upper decks and the ship will dock close to the town without having to walk through a container yard!

Most beautiful place in Mexico
. Avoid the actual city of manzanillo. It is the biggest port in Mexico and in fact on the entire Pacific coast after Los Angeles. So it is not a particularly pleasant city. However manzanillo bay is in fact a spectacular double bay. The bay that leads into the city is less desirable. However The next bay which the locals call Santiago bay is beautiful. Especially if you go to the northern end which is more secluded. If you stay anyplace up on the hills toward the northeast end the views are quite amazing. The mountains rise directly from, the beach is 5 miles, the water is warm and you are surrounded by palm trees, coconuts, citrus trees, Bougainvillea. My family has traveled throughout the whole country of Mexico. We think this is the most beautiful setting in the country In fact one of the most beautiful settings anywhere in the world.
