    Safety in Acapulco
Just a few quick points about safety. They way my friends and news media spoke I thought I would be dodging bullets in Acapulco. The only thing my wife and I were dodging were joggers and families with baby strollers. This was always around 8 or 9 pm. We walked an hour every night, on the main streets of course, and not once did we feel unsafe. Anything could happen anywhere, Jane and Finch in Toronto, or in the streets of Chicago and Detroit. The Canadian and US governments should put out an advisory in their own back yards because we’ve had gang violence in our streets as well. Now we know first hand that we would go back and just watch out for the joggers and strollers.

    Top ten in the world
Acapulco is one of the best kept secret in Mexico. The costera is the king pin of that secret. 25 km. of fine blond sand without rocks or weeds, the waves brake at 100 meters from the beech so that your kids are safe to play on it. It is mostly condos that are unoccupied most of the time so that there is no traffic. Worth the trip
