Beautiful Sandy Riverbank
Well, after knowing that the Dinkel river is quite a long one, 89 km way from the Germany accross the border with the Netherland (Overijssel) through some towns and villages, then recrosses the border to Germany again and then joint the river Vecht, I would say that I only saw a very small part of this river. We saw it when we took a walk in the Lutterzand. At some places ( there is a sign of it ) is a resting area for the swallow and kingfisher. The sandy riverbank is beautiful. Nice area for walking.

A beautiful river thru Twente
This lovey river has an abundance of wildlife and flows thru the beautiful area of Twente. You'll get to know this river much better when you are on a bicycle.
