No less than stunning
The blue hole was cool but have you seen the beach? It was perfection. We were blown away by the natural beauty of the place. We visited in March so the water was a tiny bit too chilly to swim but the weather was perfect and the beach was sublime. HIGHLY recommend.

Spent a wonderful few hours here on the gorgeous beach
This spot was a long drive of 1.5 hours for us from our hotel, but the trip was well worth it for the uniqueness of the site. We brought a cooler with us and spent around 4 hours here, walking the tranquil beach, sitting and gazing into the depths of the Blue Hole - just taking in the amazing sight in general. One thing to note... free divers from all over the world come here to practice their sport (only a few when we were there), and so we were careful to give them space and not interrupt their concentration as they dove from the platform in the middle of the deepest portion. They were there for only part of our stay, and two more came just as we were getting ready to leave. It's pretty fascinating to think HOW deep they will go. The whole experience was pretty fabulous, and I recommend a trip there - just make sure you have plenty of cold drinks, snacks and sunscreen, and please do clean up after yourself as they have worked hard to keep the area free of the garbage that was formerly a problem there.
