Incredible tour!

This tour is absolutely incredible! Our guides, Avery and Ethan, were excellent! They were engaging and highly entertaining the entire tour. It was my first time zip-lining, and I was definitely nervous, especially about the faster, longer lines, but I had no reason to be. It was so much fun!! The zip-lines, rappels and bridges were all thrilling, and the panoramic views of the mountains and forest were beautiful. Even the bumpy, off-road drive at the beginning was fun! Highly recommend adding this to your Crater Lake adventures…you won’t regret it!

    Crater Lake & Bake Zip-lining!
I’ve ziplined maybe 15 times in my life, and this is the first time I wore gloves and braked myself on the cable. So even with some experience, it definitely felt exhilarating and new to me. Little 4 Wheel Dr. trucks drive you to the top of the mountain where you go through a 15 minute lecture on safety, and how to maneuver. At that point, anybody who is uncomfortable is allowed to back out, (or at any time) if somebody is uncomfortable they can back out, as well. There was a total of 9 ziplines, 2 rope ladders and 2 repels. Once you start the trip, you don’t leave the trees the entire time and the view of the Klamath Basin is absolutely incredible. Two of the zip lines were incredibly long in comparison to most I’ve ever done. My wife received a small “cable burn“ when she touched the line with her arm by mistake while ziplining, so you definitely need to pay attention. But she said the fun was worth the little bit of pain! The final zip line finishes up very close to the beginning where you load into the four wheeler’s. They have a little shack there selling food that made delicious chicken Caesar salad wraps! Of course, you can buy pictures of you taken during various points of the trip. They would not allow any cameras up in the trees with you so we ended up buying the Full package, just for fun! I definitely would return here and do this again and recommend Crater Lake Ziplines to anyone interested in this kind of activity.

    PERFECT family event
From reservations, through check in, ziplining and axe throwing, this was an amazing experience that our entire family enjoyed. Ethan and Avery were the BEST guides for our family (mom, dad, 18, 16, 14 year old). Amazingly competent and reassuring, but also approachable, funny and just good dudes. Whatever you're paying them, it's not enough - they are great representatives of Crater Lake Ziplining and Oregon in general. After having a great ziplining tour, Ricky taught us axe throwing. Honestly, I had no idea what to think of this before we started, but he made it a lot of fun. Ricky made it the perfect activity to cap off our visit. We'll never take it up as a living, but had an amazing family time getting a little better, having some good natured competition and spending time enjoying being together. We drove over an hour from Ashland to get there and another to get back, and it was worth every minute of that time. Thanks for giving us memories we'll talk about for years to come.
