New Antique & collectibles downtown shop
Opelika, Alabama's nickname is 'A Railroad Town'. It got this nickname because Historical location with a Historical theme. Opelika was centrally located in the 1800's railways routes hey dey. If you wanted to go visit Atlanta, Macon, New Orleans, Birmingham, or Savannah, in 1853 and after, a new invention nicknamed 'The Frog' now allowed railroad tracks going in different directions to be able to cross each other and direct traffic through central hubs rather than having to go all the way around for miles and miles. It's in the spirit of this local railroad history of the thriving tourism and commerce that the antique store Railroad JUNKtion gets its name. I absolutely was enthralled with the selection and variety this old refurbished building has to offer. I'm SO HAPPY its open, the shop assistants are so friendly and knowlegable about the history of old items for sale and as I've visited several times before, there's always something new and fun to see. Specializing in items for stylish man caves of the vintage era.
