The Ben Johnson museum was by far one of my favorite places this weekend. It was very informative and personable. The lady at the front desk actually knew him and stories about him. Those are the ones you don’t usually get to hear.

Wonderful Western Museum
Great western museum all about the cowboy way of life. Anna at the front has great stories to share about the history of Ben Johnson. Anna is a wonderful host and remembered my family visiting a month earlier and sent him a video wishing him a happy birthday so sweet of her.

Ben Johnson Cowboy Museum, Pawhuska, OK
Worth your time! Displays are very well done and the layout allows for easy movement. New displays are being added. The lady at the desk was very pleasant and welcoming. We even got a sneak peek at the displays under construction. My favorite display was the horse in the back of an old pickup truck! Kudos to the owners who are spending a lot of their time and money on preserving this piece of Oklahoma history. We will definitely be back!
