great walk
This has a great walking trail, my husband and I walk a couple of hours and then walk over to the YMCA.

Walking Trails
I love this park. The grounds are beautiful and not too crowded. I normally go in the mornings with my son and sometimes in the evenings with my husband. I always feel safe even when I walk alone. We take different trails and always have a great walk. The other thing I love about the park. The people you encounter are always friendly. I recommend getting out to Mitch Park soon.

Good for the family
Great jogging trails that are slightly hilly. 2.86 miles around unless you run out parallel to covell and pass to the south of the middle school. Playground equipment is great, but could REALLY use some shade. There are several pavilions with grills, and they can all be rented for parties for $25-100 each. Check out the recreation schedule for the MAC for fun family activities year round.
